Rare? Expensive? Yes! Why? - The 'gold of tea' due to the rarity & time consuming nature of harvesting these little powerhouse tea buds. Skilfully & patiently our pluckers are harvesting one bud at a time on our Kaley tea plantation.
A real feel good brew to enjoy & like a fine wine, these white tea buds vary according to the harvest time and climate. For an extra special addition to your tea, our white teas are packed in a handmade recycled paper box made by women in the plantation communities.
Serving
Brew with hot water (80'c) for 5 mins - not boiling water as this will destroy some of the flavour profile. We love this tea as a cold brew!! Give it a go, brew overnight in a jug of water in the fridge.
