Our white tea stars are the rarest of all of our teas, aromatic with floral & stone fruit flavours peach, melon & cucumber flavours & hints of honey to finish, producing a champagnes colour liquor upon infusion. Organic tea buds (known as white tea) are the introvert powerhouse of loose leaf teas. With the lowest caffeine content of all teas, they are packed with antioxidants. White tea buds are like tiny health warriors, fighting off free radicals while keeping your skin glowing and your immune system strong!
A Plucking Good Story
Rare? Expensive? Yes! Why? - They’re unique, delicate, and hand made with great care. The 'gold of tea' due to the rarity & time consuming nature of harvesting these little powerhouse tea buds. Skilfully & patiently our pluckers are harvesting one bud at a time on our AMBA tea plantation. 16 of these tiny buds are then tied together to form one of these beautiful stars.
A real feel good brew to enjoy & like a fine wine, these stars vary according to the harvest time and climate. For an extra special addition to your tea, our Tea Stars are packed in a handmade recycled paper box made by women in the plantation communities.
Serving
Brew one White Tea Star per cup with hot water (80'c) for 5 mins - not boiling water as this will destroy some of the flavour profile.
