Fire Chai

Ingredients - black tea, chilli, pepper, cinnamon, clove, coriander, fennel & ginger

If you’re looking for a very special savoury brew, you’ve come to the right place.

Our hand-crafted Uva-style black tea is blended with 7 organic spices from the home of free range tea. Cinnamon, cloves, coriander, fennel, ginger, pepper and chilli work their magic to transform your hot water into a warming brew.

Tea leaves are plucked by hand, processed in our small batch mini roller on the farm using only the finest leaves and buds.

We call this Fire Chai. Think of a warm fire, not a raging fire... warming, not burning hot.

If you would normally go for a spicy chai, over a sweet chai tea, you’ll love this batch.

Like fine wines our teas vary according to the terrier, cultivation and season.

The climate, soil, and rainfall all effect the caffeine levels in tea as it is a natural product harvested from the camellia sinensis plant. The level of caffeine in our loose leaf teas vary. Herbal tisanes such as our Pure Peppermint and Blue Lemongrass are caffeine free.

Fully fermented black tea leaves which are the basis of all breakfast teas contain the highest amount of caffeine. Green tea has less caffeine, followed by white tea which contains a minimal amount of caffeine. While you will get a caffeine hit from your pot of tea, it is significantly less than you would from coffee.

Artisinal loose leaf teas are created in smaller batches and hand-picked from single estates. We know exactly where all our tea is grown, and who grows it. We want to be sure that each bag of tea we sell is doing good for the local community where our favourite tea plantations are.
